VOLT and SUNDAY BEST – A great start to Autumn ’13

We’ve got off to a cracking start this autumn.

We had a small commission from Circomedia to create a new intimate circus piece. The piece is the first piece in a series produced by Ausform titled This Day and Age. Part one is called “It’s Magic” and is created by Lina B. Frank and Darryl Carrington and performed by Darryl Carrington and Zuleika Gregory.

You can see this piece again this month at Bristol Old Vic during the free activities of Halloween Halfterm. The piece is suitable for one adult at a time or a whole family. Just pop in details here.

Also, we did it again! And it looks like we’ll be doing it again….and again and again (hopefully)!

Following the pilot we had back in February, Friday 4th October saw another sell out evening at the wonderful church of Circomedia Portland Square with another edition of VOLT – Ausform’s very own circus specific scratch night in collaboration with our friends at Circomedia.

The evening of performance delivered a full palate of flavours, something for everyone really. A blend of theatre, aerial, movement, text and juggling which we laughed at, gasped at and wondered ‘why’ at!

The support was incredible, (thank you all for coming!) from faces old and new who stayed into the night to sip wine from cups and give their feedback on the four pieces that were showcased in a relaxed informal environment.

Watch this space for photographs from the event and future plans for VOLT in Spring 2014!
